BOOK OVERVIEW
Gods and Graves follows Thea, a reaper who has spent centuries alone, unseen by the living. Everett, Krystian, Zaid and Rafael make up the team chosen by Ares to protect humanity from supernatural threats, and are the first people in centuries to see Thea when their jobs collide, pulling her into their world. Gods and Graves follows their journey to discover who Thea is, what happened to her, and just who is responsible for her fate before it’s too late and she’s lost again.

WHAT WORKED
I loved the characters in Gods and Graves. Thea stands out, her resilience and charming naivety making it hard not to root for her. The men balance each other out nicely, each of them having their own role in the team.
Everett, a shifter and the team’s leader, is sweet beyond his rough exterior.
Krystian is a charming elf with a dark secret.
Zaid, the wraith, is sweet and shy, with a steady devotion.
Rafael is the psychotic blood fae with a possessive obsession.
The plot is another highlight. The blending of Greek Mythology with more modern supernatural elements was well done and the romance, while fast paced, is heartfelt, with each guy bringing something unique to the team and Thea’s life.
WHAT COULD’VE BEEN BETTER
I think Gods and Graves would’ve been amazing as a duet, giving more time to explore Thea’s relationships with the guys and the world they live in. As it is, there isn’t much time for character development and the romance moves so quickly that it feels a bit unearned. The settings they find themselves in, and the mystery of Thea’s fate move too quickly to be properly explored, and expanding the length of the book would’ve given the time to build the mystery of what happened to Thea.
WHO WOULD ENJOY
Gods and Graves is a great book for lovers of Reverse Harem stories, Greek Mythology enthusiasts and anyone looking for a solid standalone between series. It’s great for anyone that doesn’t mind a quick read, or for those who enjoy lighter dark romances.

Gods and Graves is a wild adventure of mystery, romance and intrigue. It is a fun, quick read with tons of potential, but I feel that a longer format could’ve made it unforgettable.
