Not every book is for everyone, and I’m not about to pretend that I finish every book I read. This page will be regularly updated with books I Did Not Finish (DNF), along with why.
To be clear, this list isn’t static; sometimes, a book just doesn’t work out at the time you read it. As an example, I DNF’d The Death Club (Book 1 of the Dead Man Walking Duet), only to pick it up again later and fall in love with it. I’ll occasionally come back through and give a book another chance (in which case I’ll delete it from this list and write up a review instead), and I’ll add books that didn’t work out.

Devious by J.M. Stoneback
I recently tried this book after recommendations on Reddit (a common theme, I know). I selected this book while looking for something that was not a Reverse Harem, and I had trouble getting into the writing style.
Tropes: Mafia, Forced Marriage, Enemies to Lovers
Chance of Another Attempt: Possible

Unapologetic Obsession by Drethi A
I read 24% of this book before I DNF’d it. I had a hard time with the narrative style, where it flipped between the past and the present and eventually just put it down. While the method did clear things up a lot, adding context and irony, it was hard for me to follow.
Tropes: Forced Proximity, Forbidden Romance
Chance of Another Attempt: Low
